This test is intended to establish the correlation between EMF fields and EVP recordings.  It is thought that, with enough energy in the air from charged ions and an energized electromagnetic field, EVP’s are more plentiful and clear. This test will be done with digital recorders only. If evidence is found in either direction analog recorders may be tested next.

Test requires:

• 2 - Acoustic foam and cardboard enclosures. 2 ft x 2 ft x 2 ft
• Bi polar DC electromagnet
• 2 - Olympus VN 4100 256 MB Digital voice recorder

Part one will consist of a Standard EVP recording session. Any EVPs collected will be stored and time stamped.

Part Two:
Recorder A will be set in the sound proof enclosure alone.

Recorder B will be set in the second sound proof enclosure  with the electromagnet suspended inside. The EMF field will be set to read on cell sensor at 5 milligauss.

Any EVPs collected will be stored and time stamped.
